Guidelines for Warship Visits by Defence Trade Professionals:

DIMDEX 2010 trade professionals who wish to visit the participating warships are required to register at the warship visit registration counter located at the lobby of the exhibition hall in Doha Exhibition Centre (DEC).

You may be required to produce personal ID to gain access into Doha Commercial Port, please be prepared and have this with you.

You are required to wear your DIMDEX name badge throughout the duration of the visit.

A Shuttle service will be provided to transport the visitors from DEC to the Doha Commercial Port.

No personal transport is permitted.

Trade professionals are welcome to visit the warships at the courtesy of the respective commanding officers, who have the discretion to deny any visit and to determine the tour route onboard each ship as guided by their national security policy.

Security of each warship during visits remains solely under the jurisdiction of the respective commanding officers.

Photography onboard the ship is STRICTLY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SHIP’S COMMANDING OFFICER. Please seek permission from the ship’s staff before you take any pictures onboard.

All visitors, without exception, are to leave Doha Commercial Port by the end of the stated visiting hours.
