Freight Forwarder and On-site Handler

Schenker LLC is the Official Freight Forwarder and Exclusive Customs Clearance and On-site HandlingAgent. Overseas Exhibitors or their agents have to liaise with Schenker LLC for shipment advice, tariffs and/or information on Qatar Customs Regulations and Procedures.

All on site storage and handling facilities will be under the control of Schenker LLC. Exhibitors and their Contractors not using Schenker LLC as their freight forwarder should nevertheless liaise with Schenker LLC concerning the use and availability of on-site storage and handling facilities.

Additionally, Schenker LLC is able to provide, in conjunction with their offices and agents abroad, all operations for temporary importation of goods into Qatar, installation at the Exhibition and return to areas of origin.

Any Exhibitors and their Contractors requiring any of the above services must email the Shipment Pre Advice Form no. 7 before 20th of January 2012 to Mr Marvyn Mathias at marvyn.mathias@dbschenker.com.

Oversized/Out-of-Gauge Cargoes

Exhibitors are required to email the details of any oversized or out-of-gauge cargoes along with a sketch of your booth clearly showing the positioning of your exhibit on the stand to Mr Marvyn Mathias at marvyn.mathias@dbschenker.com before the 28th of February 2012. Oversized or out-of-gauge cargoes refer to exhibits which have dimensions exceeding 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 mts and over 2 tons in weight.

Weapons & Ammunitions

Please note that all exhibits that are categorised as Weapons and/or Ammunitions must be Inert and Inactive or a dummy piece. No live ammunition or weapons are permitted for import or display during Dimdex 2012.

Exhibitors are to complete and email the End User Certificate (EUC) Freight Approval Form no.7a to info@dimdex.com before the 28th of February 2012. Please also attach a copy of the product brochure outlining the complete specifications and description of the weapons/exhibits.
