DIMDEX 2010 Hosts Thank You Lunch for Volunteers
Doha, Qatar, 26 April 2010: The 2nd Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (DIMDEX) 2010 marked the achievements of their student volunteers with a thank you celebration lunch hosted by the Diplomatic Club on 26th April.
In recognition of the efforts and the excellent work by volunteers during the Middle East’s largest integrated maritime defence exhibition and conference, DIMDEX 2010 Deputy Chairman Staff Brigadier (SEA) Khalid Yehya Al-Khuzaei thanked and awarded Certificates of Appreciation to 50 volunteers on behalf of Qatar Emiri Naval Forces.
DIMDEX 2010 student volunteers, the majority of who are university Qatari graduates, assisted in all areas of the exhibition both in the days before the show and onsite whilst the exhibition was open from 29th to 31st Marc
"Our volunteers provided an extremely valuable service for DIMDEX 2010 exhibitors and visitors, and we wish to show our appreciation and say thank you,” said Staff Brigadier Al-Khuzaei.
"Talking to the volunteers it was clear they feel a sense of personal achievement, and benefited immensely from the opportunity to meet VIP Delegations, exhibitors, visitors and press taking part in DIMDEX 2010."
following the huge success of DIMDEX 2010, volunteers, exhibitors and visitors are already looking forward to DIMDEX 2012 which takes place from 26 to 28 March 2012.
