Qatar MICE Development Institute (QMDI) and Singex Global (ME) Pte Ltd are pleased to announce the launch of DIMDEX 2008 – the first dedicated Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference to serve the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

This launch is a reaction to the requests from industry who have expressed a strong desire to have a highly focussed maritime defence event for the MENA region – a region that is forecast to spend US$ 17 billion on new-build warships over the next decade.

The inaugural Event will be held in Doha from 17 -19 March, and will enjoy the full support of the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF).

Like its sister Show, IMDEX Asia, the DIMDEX Series will be biennial and will be held every March in the even years.
