The Opening Ceremony is the official act marking the beginning of the Event and the meeting place for the government officials, VIP delegations, exhibitors, delegates and media. It’s the most prestigious feature of the Event attended at the highest government level. The sponsor of the Opening Ceremony is the General Sponsor of DIMDEX 2010. General Sponsor is entitled to exclusive benefits such as logo branding at the back of the visitors’ badge and on the main carpeted aisle of the exhibition. The size of the General Sponsor’s logo on all marketing materials will be around 30% larger than all other sponsors’ logos.

Gala Reception of DIMDEX 2010 is designed to welcome high-calibre event attendees to Qatar and provide them with an elegant social setting for networking opportunities. This evening function will be held in a luxurious venue and is sure to be the highest attended activity of the week. Sponsorship of the Gala Reception includes branding on the invitation cards, signage and banners displayed at the event, as well as public acknowledgement and a welcome speech.

VIP Lunches will be held each day for the duration of the Exhibition. This function is aimed at the limited amount of designated guests from the governmental VIP delegations, senior representatives from the trade associations, embassies and exhibiting companies. The sponsor of the VIP lunch will get exclusive branded during this must-attend event, as well as the possibility to entertain selected guests at his VIP table.

Transport Sponsor will gain visibility both at the exhibition and around the city of Doha. Sponsor’s logo will appear on event Shuttle Buses as well as inside the cars for the VIP delegations. Corporate material can be inserted inside the cars and buses. Special Car Pass Stickers which are essential for all participants will also feature sponsor’s logo and will be prominently displayed on the car windscreens for the duration of DIMDEX.

Registration Area and Lanyards Sponsor will be the first visible sponsor of DIMDEX 2010 as all exhibitors and visitors must register to attend the event. The Sponsor will get exclusive branding rights of the Registration area and logo on lanyards for the badges. 

Exhibition Catalogue will be the most sought after document of the event. It will contain companies’ descriptions and contact details of all exhibitors as well as the programme of the event. Floor plan /route planner will be distributed together with the Exhibition Catalogue and will be extremely useful for trade visitors. Sponsor will enjoy visible branding with a total of 7,000 copies of the Exhibition Catalogue and Route planner distributed on the exhibition floor.

Show Daily is a daily newsletter published on each day during DIMDEX 2010. Latest event news, interviews and photographs will be published there. Show Dailies will be distributed free of charge to all stands, warships and all other exhibition areas. Sponsor will get advertisement in the prominent position as well as logo branding on the front page and an interview/article about his company.

Exhibitor Club Lounge will be set up in the exhibition center. Sponsor will get exclusive branding rights inside the exhibitor club lounge. Recognition will be givin in a number of ways including signage, branding and information flyers distribution.

Internet Cafe is a popular feature at DIMDEX. Well-equipped multi-stations will give Internet access to all show attendees. This service will be offered free of charge as a special courtesy made possible through the generosity of the sponsor. Recognition will be given in a number of ways including signage, logo branding and information flyers distributed to the stands. Computer screens in the Internet Cafe will be set-up to open the Sponsor’s website first.

Carrier Bags will be distributed each day to thousands of professional trade visitors attending DIMDEX 2010. Why not make each of them a walking billboard for your brand? Sponsor’s logo will be positioned on the carrier bag and a piece of corporate material will be inserted inside.

Pre-show press conference will be held on March 28th, 2010 at Holiday Villa before the exhibition – local, regional and international press will be invited. This is a great opportunity for the Sponsor to get his company’s message in front of a large media audience. Press Centre will be set up in the Exhibition Hall to provide assistance to members of the press. Work stations with Internet access will be provided at the Press Centre along with light snacks and refreshments. VIP Gifts (welcome bag, watch, pen and business folder) will be distributed to the members of the VIP delegations, Ministers and senior industry representatives. Crew sports tournament is a unique feature of DIMDEX. Seamen from the visiting warships berthed at Doha’s Commercial Port will be competing in various sports. This event will provide an excellent entertainment for all attendees and a major attraction for media and public.
